Happy Monday! Today we are going to be getting into setting up the PERFECT weekly reset.
WHAT IS A WEEKLY RESET?
A weekly reset is a time you designate, usually at the end of the week, to keep yourself organised and set, for the upcoming week.
This doesn’t have to be a boring experience at all, in fact, it should be a process that you look forward to at the end of a long week. Play music, change into comfy clothes and grab some snacks.
The aim of a weekly reset is to wake up on Monday morning feeling relaxed, stress-free and ready to go!

1. SHOWER, WASH HAIR, SHAVE
It’s so crazy how a long hot shower, makes you feel like a brand new woman (or man)! There’s just something about having freshly washed hair and a smooth body that makes me feel amazing. At the end of a long-ass week, I crave this feeling.
Taking a good 30-40 mins away from work to blast music whilst doing your shower routine gives you an instant energy burst. Take your time. If it takes an hour, so be it! This time is for you and you only. This time is about refuelling you and your body for the upcoming week.
To add to the experience I love to moisturise my body with oils which makes the experience even more luxurious.
The perfect way to start your Sunday weekly reset…
2. DO A FACE MASK
Face masks are also such a good act of self care that you can do for yourself.
Before we get into the more productive part of your weekly reset, you need to make sure that you feel relaxed and grounded. Face masks are such a quick and simple way to treat yourself, leaving you feeling rejuvenated.
I love using face masks once or twice a week whilst I am planning (we will get into that soon)…

4. DO LAUNDRY + CHANGE YOUR BEDDINGS
One of the top 3 best feelings is getting into a freshly made bed! Am I right or am I right?
You’d be surprised how changing your bedding every Sunday can make you feel so productive and set before the week has even started! If you think that changing your bedding every week is excessive, that’s ok. Doing a few simple things like, spraying pillow spray can give you the same feeling.

5. CLEAN SPACE
Starting your week off with a tidy space will make you feel so much more put together. Put a audiobook/ podcast/ music on and pick up after yourself. You’d be surprised how quickly this will take when you are listening to something you enjoy.
6. WATER PLANTS
Your plants need their weekly reset too!
7. LIGHT A CANDLE
Before we get into the real business, it is time to light a candle or turn on your diffuser you feel more relaxed and in the mood.

8. WRITE WEEKLY TO DO LIST
The last thing you want to do is wake up on Monday morning with no idea with what you need to get done that week. After you have lit your candle or turned on my oil diffuser, it is time to get to work.
Open your notes app or get a blank piece of paper and just start writing… Create a long list of everything you want to complete during the week (big or small). It can be from emptying out your junk draw to completing an assignment for university.
Since I’m in university right now, my weekly to do lists look something like this…
As you can see it is very University work heavy (as it should be) but I make sure to assign time to other projects I have going on.
Once you have all of the tasks that you want to complete, you can add them to your planner/ calendar. You may notice that you probably didn’t complete everything that you wanted to do. So make sure to prioritise tasks that need to be done first.
9. UPDATE GOOGLE CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK
Updating your Google Calendar/ planner every Sunday is crucial and really sets the tone for the week. Sitting down and time-blocking all of your tasks (from your weekly to-do list) into your Calendar helps you easily assign time. It is so easy to say that “there aren’t enough hours in a day”! Trust me, I say it all the time, but adding your tasks into your calendar in advance prevents a lot of time escaping you.

10. PLAN WORKOUTS FOR WEEK
Adding multiple workouts ON TOP of everything you need to get done can be so overwhelming at times. Which is why planning your workout times, before the week starts makes you feel more in control.
11. TAKE OUT THE TRASH
Such a simple task that so many of us (including me) put off! I’ve found that one of the secrets to feeling fulfilled and productive are crossing the small tasks that you have been procrastinating. So, TAKE. OUT. YOUR. TRASH !!
12. GO THROUGH EMAILS
It is so easy for all the junk mail and newsletters that we never open to build up in our inbox. You may find yourself not having enough time during the work week to delete any unnecessary emails. Setting some time each week just to go through your inbox to either delete junk mail or file your important emails away, is a game changer.
I don’t know about you but seeing over 1,000 unopened emails in my inbox instantly intensifies any stress that I already had.
13. ORGANISE LAPTOP
Similar to organising and going through your emails, organising your laptop is equally as important. If you are an online student or are currently working at home due to the pandemic, I’m sure you have random files and downloads floating all over your laptop.
You’d be surprised how easy it is to forget about organising your devices on a regular basis. In just 3 weeks my laptop was a whole mess, so yesterday, during my weekly Sunday reset I organised all of my files… this isn’t even half of it!

14. PLAN MEALS + DO GROCERY SHOPPING
Planning all of your meals in advance before going food shopping saves you both time and coin. Wandering around the grocery store throwing everything and anything you feel like at that moment is not cost-effective or smart.
Planning your meals doesn’t need to be a big ceremony, you can use anything from your notes app to a piece of paper… My meal plan template looks something like this:
You don’t need to do your food shop on Sunday’s, however, I like the idea of having a freshly stocked fridge at the beginning of the week.
15. MEAL PREP
After planning your meals and doing the food shop, it is time to meal prep!
Cooking every day takes so much time out of your day, I don’t know about you but I love to eat so I take a while to cook my food. Instead of slaving over the stove 3 times a day, 7 days a week, I choose a day and designate some time to meal prep.
Meal prepping is such an efficient way to get the majority of the cooking for the week sorted in only a few hours. I love how meal prepping saves you time and money.

16. REVIEW MONTHLY BUDGET
Reviewing your budget at the end of the week makes the dreaded task of going over your income and expenses throughout the month SO MUCH EASIER. Not only do weekly reviews keep you accountable with how much you are spending but it also reminds you how much money you have left to spend in each category.

It is so easy for all the junk mail and newsletters that we never open to build up in our inbox. You may find yourself not having enough time during the work week to delete any unnecessary emails. Setting some time each week just to go through your inbox to either delete junk mail or file your important emails away, is a game changer.
I don’t know about you but seeing over 1,000 unopened emails in my inbox instantly intensifies any stress that I already had.
13. ORGANISE LAPTOP
Similar to organising and going through your emails, organising your laptop is equally as important. If you are an online student or are currently working at home due to the pandemic, I’m sure you have random files and downloads floating all over your laptop.
You’d be surprised how easy it is to forget about organising your devices on a regular basis. In just 3 weeks my laptop was a whole mess, so yesterday, during my weekly Sunday reset I organised all of my files… this isn’t even half of it!

14. PLAN MEALS + DO GROCERY SHOPPING
Planning all of your meals in advance before going food shopping saves you both time and coin. Wandering around the grocery store throwing everything and anything you feel like at that moment is not cost-effective or smart.
Planning your meals doesn’t need to be a big ceremony, you can use anything from your notes app to a piece of paper… My meal plan template looks something like this:
You don’t need to do your food shop on Sunday’s, however, I like the idea of having a freshly stocked fridge at the beginning of the week.
15. MEAL PREP
After planning your meals and doing the food shop, it is time to meal prep!
Cooking every day takes so much time out of your day, I don’t know about you but I love to eat so I take a while to cook my food. Instead of slaving over the stove 3 times a day, 7 days a week, I choose a day and designate some time to meal prep.
Meal prepping is such an efficient way to get the majority of the cooking for the week sorted in only a few hours. I love how meal prepping saves you time and money.

Not only do weekly reviews keep you accountable with how much you are spending but it also reminds you how much money you have left to spend in each category.

Happy Monday! Today we are going to be getting into setting up the PERFECT weekly reset.
WHAT IS A WEEKLY RESET?
A weekly reset is a time you designate, usually at the end of the week, to keep yourself organised and set, for the upcoming week.
This doesn’t have to be a boring experience at all, in fact, it should be a process that you look forward to at the end of a long week. Play music, change into comfy clothes and grab some snacks.
The aim of a weekly reset is to wake up on Monday morning feeling relaxed, stress-free and ready to go!

1. SHOWER, WASH HAIR, SHAVE
It’s so crazy how a long hot shower, makes you feel like a brand new woman (or man)! There’s just something about having freshly washed hair and a smooth body that makes me feel amazing. At the end of a long-ass week, I crave this feeling.
Taking a good 30-40 mins away from work to blast music whilst doing your shower routine gives you an instant energy burst. Take your time. If it takes an hour, so be it! This time is for you and you only. This time is about refuelling you and your body for the upcoming week.
To add to the experience I love to moisturise my body with oils which makes the experience even more luxurious.
The perfect way to start your Sunday weekly reset…
2. DO A FACE MASK
Face masks are also such a good act of self care that you can do for yourself.
Before we get into the more productive part of your weekly reset, you need to make sure that you feel relaxed and grounded. Face masks are such a quick and simple way to treat yourself, leaving you feeling rejuvenated.
I love using face masks once or twice a week whilst I am planning (we will get into that soon)…

4. DO LAUNDRY + CHANGE YOUR BEDDINGS
One of the top 3 best feelings is getting into a freshly made bed! Am I right or am I right?
You’d be surprised how changing your bedding every Sunday can make you feel so productive and set before the week has even started! If you think that changing your bedding every week is excessive, that’s ok. Doing a few simple things like, spraying pillow spray can give you the same feeling.

5. CLEAN SPACE
Starting your week off with a tidy space will make you feel so much more put together. Put a audiobook/ podcast/ music on and pick up after yourself. You’d be surprised how quickly this will take when you are listening to something you enjoy.
6. WATER PLANTS
Your plants need their weekly reset too!
7. LIGHT A CANDLE
Before we get into the real business, it is time to light a candle or turn on your diffuser you feel more relaxed and in the mood.

8. WRITE WEEKLY TO DO LIST
The last thing you want to do is wake up on Monday morning with no idea with what you need to get done that week. After you have lit your candle or turned on my oil diffuser, it is time to get to work.
Open your notes app or get a blank piece of paper and just start writing… Create a long list of everything you want to complete during the week (big or small). It can be from emptying out your junk draw to completing an assignment for university.
Since I’m in university right now, my weekly to do lists look something like this…
As you can see it is very University work heavy (as it should be) but I make sure to assign time to other projects I have going on.
Once you have all of the tasks that you want to complete, you can add them to your planner/ calendar. You may notice that you probably didn’t complete everything that you wanted to do. So make sure to prioritise tasks that need to be done first.
9. UPDATE GOOGLE CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK
Updating your Google Calendar/ planner every Sunday is crucial and really sets the tone for the week. Sitting down and time-blocking all of your tasks (from your weekly to-do list) into your Calendar helps you easily assign time. It is so easy to say that “there aren’t enough hours in a day”! Trust me, I say it all the time, but adding your tasks into your calendar in advance prevents a lot of time escaping you.

Adding multiple workouts ON TOP of everything you need to get done can be so overwhelming at times. Which is why planning your workout times, before the week starts makes you feel more in control.

Such a simple task that so many of us (including me) put off! I’ve found that one of the secrets to feeling fulfilled and productive are crossing the small tasks that you have been procrastinating. So, TAKE. OUT. YOUR. TRASH !!
